Apparently Asus brings us this surprise at the beginning of the year, two tablets presented at CES in Las Vegas Pad Slider and Transformer, both with tegra 2 dual core processor, the first one as the name implies has a sliding keyboard similar to that of the Desire Z with a QWERTY keyboard, the Transformer It has a keyboard that gives us the option to "unhook it" from the rest of the tablet.
The Slider brings some negligible specifications such as 10.1-inch screen, IPS panel with 1280 × 800 resolution, miniHDMI and miniUSB ports, micro SD card slot and two cameras, front of 1'2 Megapixels and rear of 5 MP + LED flash, weighs approximately one kilogram and 1'27 cm thick and an approximate market price between 375 and 600 euros, 512MB / 1GB of RAM and 16GB / 32GB / 64GB of eMMC (Embedded MultiMediaCard).
The Brother of the Slider gives us the possibility to disconnect the keyboard from the rest of the tablet, and also brings a integrated battery that will allow according to the manufacturer a use of approximately 16 hours. This tablet shares specifications with the on-screen Slider, cameras, processor and connections, except for the microSD slot and with an approximate price of $ 399. Both devices have the Asus custom interface called Mywave, Bluetooth 2.1 and Wi-Fi. Here are some videos for you to open your mouth with these two jewels.
It opens even more a market for which every manufacturer worth its salt will want a part of the cakeIn my view, these keyboard tablets will clearly banish mini-laptops, with specifications like these have nothing to envy for comfort and practicality, autonomy, weight and touch screen … and you? Will you end up with one in your hands?
What do you think of these new toys? They are not brought by the wise men but more than one will be the same illusion as a child hehehe.
