At the end of September, the Asian company OnePlus officially presented the OnePlus 7T, the evolution of the OnePlus 7, a terminal that reached the market about 6 months ago and where the news can be counted on the fingers of one hand and we still have fingers left over. To see the renewal of the OnePlus 7 Pro, hWe had to wait until now.
A few hours ago, the company presented at an event, the second generation of OnePlus 7 Pro, a terminal that draws attention especially to design, a design where like its predecessor, everything is frontal and the camera is placed on the top of the device and appears and disappears when we open the camera application.
This year, the chip manufacturer Qualcomm, has launched for the first time a second version of its star processor for this year, the 855, a processor that is available in the latest smartphone models that have been presented. The new OnePlus 7T and 7T Pro have taken advantage of this renewal to be an additional incentive when it comes to renewing the device if we come from the versions that were released 6 months ago, although the difference is not abysmal, much less.
Another of the changes we found in the OnePlus 7T Pro, is that we only have at our disposal a version with 8 GB of RAM, instead of 3 versions with different RAM capacities (6, 8 and 12 GB). Another difference, we also find it in storage, a storage that is available in 256 GB UFS 3.0, in single version. The OnePlus 7 Pro was available in versions of 128 and 256 GB of storage also UFS 3.0.
In the photographic section, we see how the Asian company he has bet the same set of lenses again, a set of lenses that allows us to record videos at 960 fps as the main attraction, in addition to allowing us to record videos in 4k. The camera set is composed of a main lens of 48 mpx manufactured by Sony, a telephoto lens of 8 mpx and a wide angle of 16 mpx with a viewing angle of 117 °.
The screen of the new generation of OnePlus 7 Pro it's exactly the same as we could find in the previous generation, a screen of 6.7 inches type AMOLED, with resolution 3,120 × 1,440 and a refresh rate of 90 Hz, one of the strengths of this terminal.

If you want changes, the McLaren edition is the one you are looking for
OnePlus has presented a McLaren edition, an edition that differs from the normal version, not only in the design, but also in the specifications offered by this terminal, since unlike the Dry Pro version, The McLaren edition is accompanied by 12 GB of RAM and 256 GB of storage.
The body of this model is made of carbon fiber and shows us the notifications pending to read through a striking lighting that is shown on the edges of the screen. The rest of the specifications of this version are exactly the same. In order to get this model, we have to pay 859 euros, 100 euros more than the version with 8 GB of RAM and 256 GB of storage.
Renewal every 6 months
Once again it is confirmed that OnePlus follow a different path from other manufacturers and that in the end it can cost you dearly, not only because the model of launching a new terminal every 6 months (something Sony did and that's how it has gone) can get tired of users who trust this manufacturer (at 6 months the mobile has already been renewed) but because in most cases, as is the case without going any further, the differences between the previous and the new generation are practically negligible.
This year, OnePlus has chosen to launch two different versions of the OnePlus 7T Pro, one with 8 GB of RAM and 256 GB of storage for 759 euros and another, the McLaren edition with 12 GB of RAM and 256 GB of storage for 859 euros, reducing thus the options that previously put in the hands of the users. If it is a model that will follow in the future, everything will depend on sales.
OnePlus offers us a renewal plan for encourage the purchase of the new versions of OnePlus, allowing us to renew our old device to the OnePlus 6T or Xiaomi, Samsung, Sony, Apple, Huawei and Nokia brands. This renewal program does not usually value the terminals well, so unless we are in a hurry to get rid of our smartphone, it is always convenient to sell it second-hand.
Release Date of OnePlus 7T Pro
The OnePlus 7T Pro will hit the market on October the 17th, like OnePlus 7T. We will be able to buy it directly on the OnePlus website in addition to Amazon.
