A few weeks ago Meizu announced two new, very powerful mobiles, which have gone unnoticed. The Meizu 16 and 16 Plus are terminals that draw attention for not using notch, for having the Snapdragon 845 as a processor and for implementing a fingerprint sensor on the screen.
Now new data from the third member of that family, the Meizu 16X, which would be the equivalent of the Xiaomi Mi 8 SE, although with some improved features.
Lots of memory and fingerprint sensor on screen
This model has been filtered in the TENAA; China's electronic products certification body.
In the file we have seen that it would have an eight-core processor at 2.2 GHz. The model is not specified but it is speculated that it could be the Snapdragon 710, which would fit.
The CEO of the company has confirmed that there will be a model with 8 GB of RAM and 128 GB of memory although this will be the terminal with the highest characteristics, not the standard. In the TENAA another variant has been filtered, with 6 GB of RAM and 64 GB of internal memory.
On the other hand, if we look at the images, we see that there is no visible fingerprint sensor and although that could mean that Meizu would bet everything on facial unlocking it could also be a reason to think that this model, like her older brothers, will have a integrated fingerprint sensor.
Fingerprint sensor on the screen: my experience after a week of use
We have tested a mobile with a fingerprint sensor on the screen for a week and this is our opinion of this technology.
Its screen will be 6 inches, with OLED technology and resolution 2160 x 1080 px. The dimensions will be 151.2 x 73.6 x 7.5 mm and will have a really light weight of 154 grams.
Its battery will be 3000 mAh and will have fast charging and the cameras will be 20 + 12 Mpx in the rear area and 20 Mpx in the front.
As for prices, there are two versions, perhaps the two memory variants mentioned. Prices would be 1999 yuan (about 250 euros) and 2499 yuan (about 315 euros).
