Teclast X16S: The closest thing to a Surface that can be purchased for 240 euros

Circumstances have forced us to pose our eyes, little by little, in the movements of different chinese manufacturers. Teclast is among them one of the most prominent in achieving, in general, a great balance between performance and product. Probably, the interesting thing about this brand is that it manages to combine known and affordable hardware with highly attractive designs, meditating well all the steps in that area, as evidenced by the Teclast X16S.
As he points out TechTablets it is one of the best replicas of the Surface Pro 4 that we have seen so far, at least in the renders distributed by the firm. Keyboard and Kickstand They look very similar to the concept on which Microsoft has based a large part of its developments in the segment: a "foot" on the back of the tablet to adjust the angle and a magnetized keyboard that allows a similar effect. Even the screen format It is identical to the one adopted by Redmond.
Teclast X16S technical sheet
What stands out most of the device, as we have in the previous lines is its tremendous resemblance to a star of the segment such as the Surface Pro 4. As for technical specifications, we move on a level very similar to that of most devices manufactured by Chinese brands of similar qualities. For example, the screen stays at a resolution Full HD and the processor is a Intel Atom X5 Z3800, which we have already realized several times. It is a pity, of course, that you do not opt for a somewhat more evolved power unit, even though that chip we know it meets.
In terms of memory, we have 4GB of RAM and 64GB of ROM, while we find another classic in addressing the operating system: a dual boot with Android 5.1 and Windows 10. It's time for these manufacturers to start working with Marshmallow because there is a difference. Even so, Teclast's adaptation for Google OS is quite good.
Tablet price and availability
The equipment can already be found in some stores at an approximate price of 240 euros. Of course, the tablet is attractive, but right now the competition in this field is fierce. For example, the Cube i7 Book with an Intel Core m3, much more powerful than ATOM, and support for Wacom costs only 300 euros, while new Chuwi HiBook Pro (with 2K screen) or Vi10 Plus (Remix OS and 170 euros) can be considered alternatives to height or better in value for money.
