Wiko has launched its new fourth generation smartphone: the Highway Pure, a fairly lightweight device thanks to its 5.1 mm thick and 98 grams of weight. It has a 4.8-inch screen with AMOLED technology, which, in addition to lower power consumption, allows you to reduce the contour of the device, making it easier to handle.
The big bet of this device has been the design. The French brand has made a very stylized team not only thanks to its dimensions but also because it has managed to fully integrate the camera into the body of the mobile, without exceeding a millimeter. It is constructed with hardened glass on the back, Corning Gorilla Glass 3 glass on the screen and the metal profile in three color variants (black combined with gold or silver profiles, and white combined with silver color).
It has an HD multi-touch screen with a resolution of 1280 x 720, which reaches a pixel density of 306 ppi. This resolution allows the user to enjoy the content with the highest quality that the human eye can perceive and with the new Full Lamination system, an improvement in the touch accuracy of the screen and viewing angles is received, allowing a better user experience.
The Highway Pure works with the Snapdragon 410 Quad Core 64-bit 1.2 GHz processor, with Cortex-A53 architecture developed by Qualcomm. Its 2 GB RAM allows the use of multiple applications at the same time, as well as quick and easy access to all content stored in its 16 GB internal capacity. Do not forget that thanks to its 4G connection (FDD-LTE Category 4), with data download capacity of 150 Mbps and upload of 50 Mbps, it is possible to navigate at high speed.
In addition to the WiFi and Bluetooth connectivity options, the new Highway Pure Integrates other functions such as accelerometer, proximity sensor, magnetometer and a GPS positioning system compatible with GPS and Glonass, with which the location capacity is increased from anywhere in the world. The team runs on Android 4.4.4 KitKat, but the company is working on its next update to Lollipop. The equipment works with a 2,000 mAh Li-Po battery, which guarantees a great autonomy of up to 200 hours at rest and 13 hours in conversation.
The Highway Pure incorporates two cameras equipped with the HDR or Hight Dynamic Range technology, a tool that allows a better range between the lightest and darkest areas of the image. The main camera, with sensor developed by Sony 8 MP, has a built-in flash and 4x digital zoom, while the front camera, with its 5 MP, allows you to take the best selfies with a competitive image quality.
The new terminal includes features such as photo retouching with its image editor and Beauty Mode, which allows to eliminate or mitigate skin or face imperfections. It should also be noted that the device incorporates automatic, incandescent, daylight, fluorescent and cloudy white balance modes and advanced functions such as night, panorama or sport modes. Additionally, the cameras of the Highway Pure also allow you to record videos with a resolution of 1080p HD at 30 f / s -photograms per second-: great quality for lovers of audiovisual content.
The Highway Pure is now available for purchase and has a recommended price of 299 euros.
