The Swedish subway, inside

In
The Metro Series, the German photographer David Altrath adds to his collection of works inspired by open spaces and great architectures a portfolio of images captured in the underground railway stations of Stoholm, Sweden. The Stockholms Tunnelbana (or T-Bana) system was built after the Second World War, in pure Scandinavian cavern, and is considered the longest galley in the world (about 110 kilometers). Since 1957, its stations have received the interventions of more than 140 artists in different disciplines: sculptures, mosaics, reliefs, installations, paintings.
