Samsung wants its camera in thebe as praised as the Huawei P30 Pro.
According to the Ice Universe filter, which usually has reliable information, Samsung prepares a major software update for the camera in the S10. The patch add night mode (Night Mode) to enhance photos in low light or night.
Ice Universe says that this update, which also includes an improvement to the camera algorithm, arrive between April or May. The update will be only for the Galaxy S10 and S10 Plus, possibly the S10e will run out of access to it because it has fewer photographic features.
Ice Universe says that this function is independent within the native Cmara app, similar to the video or Pro function to have more control over the camera's values. In this way, users will have to activate the function to take photographs at night.
The night or low light photography has taken a lot of relevance in recent years thanks mainly to the Google Pixel phone family. Despite only having a camera, the Pixels take some of the best images at night, surpassing any other phone like the iPhone or the Galaxy S10.
In recent months, Huawei has taken the baton in the aspect of night photography. With its P30 Pro, Huawei has surpassed in low light photos the Galaxy S10 phones that were released almost at the same time. Samsung will try to improve in that aspect with this update.
