In April of this year, Google added a feature to Google Pay that allows its users buy and sell gold through the application. Paytm, Mobikwik and Phonepe I have been offering this feature for a while.
Now, Google Pay It is apparently getting a new feature that allows its users to give gold to others.
This feature was seen in the application code (v48.0.001_RC03) by XDA developers. As reported, the back-end codes of the application suggest that Google may be working on a function that allows users to give gold to each other.
As of now, there is no clear information on when this function will be implemented or how it will work. It is also quite possible that Google does not launch this function if it faces any problem during the test.
Earlier this year, Google announced its partnership with the MMTC-PAMP India bullion refinery to allow users to buy and sell 99.99 percent of 24 karat gold. The feature allows users to buy gold for any value, which MMTC-PAMP stores in its name in secure vaults. Users can buy and sell gold at any time at the latest price, updated every few minutes, as shown in the Google Pay application.
At the Google for India event in September this year, the company announced The application has 67 million monthly active users and $ 110 billion in transactions in 2019.
