Star Citizen information explosion: Pyro, Anvil Carrack, Theaters of War and more detailed

CitizenCon, a convention for all things Star citizen, took place this weekend and Cloud Imperium Games revealed a lot of new things for its next space title. The biggest is perhaps the revelation of Pyro, the second system in the game that requires jump-point mechanisms. Watch the video below.

It seems that going to Pyro requires a jump boost. The jump point itself is designed as "medium size", but it is not clear whether the sizes of the boats will be taken into account. Then there's Planet Tech V4, which brings the weather to the game and affect the way a ship flies. But wait there is more: the long awaited ship Anvil Carrack has finally been revealed.

As a "military scout" ship, it is expected to fit a number of different roles. Most importantly, it can remain in space for long periods of time and is capable of heading to new jump points. Check out the ship's commercial below.

Finally, there are Theaters of War, a 20v20 first-person shooter game mode of combined weapons. Its objective is based on multiple stages and presents flight combat and vehicles. The mode is currently in alpha and offers a more traditional mode. Battlefield-That the flavor of the gameplay for the fantastic. It is hard by the edges but still quite peak.
