The Redmi Note 7 is a cheap phone so as such, we must keep in mind that its construction materials will not be the best in the market even if they are fully functional. The phone has a plastic frame that surrounds its glass body, with a back protected by the Gorilla Corning Glass 5 cover.
The most striking is that the back comes in some colors twilight very funny, similar to those of models like theand P20 Pro. At the rear it also has the fingerprint sensor and the double camera that protrudes slightly from the body of the equipment.
It is a comfortable phone in hand despite its 6.3 inches of screen and 8.1 millimeters thick, it has a very good grip. Maybe it's a bit heavy, partly because of the glass-finished construction, but unlike other glass-coated phones, the Redmi Note 7 is nothing slippery.
On the right edge is the power button, just in a very natural position when we hold it in the hand and on it the physical volume buttons, which are also easy to access from any position. At the bottom we find the USB type C charging connector and the headphone jack, something that is increasingly difficult to see in the new phones.
In the use of the day, this device has not presented any problems. Its Snapdragon 660 processor has given us great fluidity in almost all processes, with its performance only affected when executing multitasking or games with a high demand for resources.
Its CPU has also left us a good reproduction of graphics without just lags no drops of frames during game games like Fortnite. These good results in the day with the phone have also been reflected in our synthetic tests.
Then you can compare its results with some of its rivals of similar configuration where the phone is very well stopped with its 4GB of RAM and its Snapdragon 660.
As we can see in the results of the synthetic tests, the Redmi Note has a higher performance than its rival, the Xiaomi Mi A2 and also passes in front of some of the mid-range Moto Z3 Play or its successor, the Xiaomi Redmi 5 Plus.
As for the battery, this phone has a 4,000mAh battery with quick charge system Quick Charge 4 but unfortunately, the unit that sent it to us for review does not include the original box or charger so we had to charge it With a standard one.
