Motorola is possibly the mobile manufacturer with more history. Not in vain were the inventors of it. In the field of smartphones, they also have an impressive journey, having gone through being an independent company, part of Google and now part of Lenovo.
Within that extensive history there are many terminals that deserve to be highlighted but there is one that occupies a special place for us: the Moto G.
And the last member of this family to have been leaked is the new Motorola Moto G7, a smartphone that we know more and more about even though it doesn't have a presentation date yet.
Filtered technical characteristics
This terminal will be a mid-range model, like the rest of its predecessors, although it will have some differences.
The most striking of these is the screen size, which grows to 6.4 inches, which seems to be the standard diagonal of the end of 2018 and perhaps 2019. The resolution will be 2340 x 1080 px.
We do not know which processor will use but it will be eight cores. There are some sources that estimate that the chosen one will be the Snapdragon 636 although we hope it is a newer and more powerful model.
We will have 4 GB of RAM and 64 GB of internal memory although the filtration has not given clues about whether we can use a microSD or not. Yes we will have Dual SIM and we also know that this mobile will come with Android 9.0 Pie.
In the back we will have two sensors, one of 16 Mpx and another
secondary of 5 Mpx, although we do not know the functions of each one. In the front area we will have a single sensor, housed in the notch.
Inside is the battery, 3500 mAh, and in the same area but outside is the fingerprint sensor.
An updated design with notch
This was one of the families that had still resisted the fashion of the notch although it seems that it ends. In previous leaks we already told you that this model would be the first of the Moto G to implement it, using one in the form of a drop of water.
There could still be changes since it was a prototype, as you see in the text of the terminal settings, which shows other models such as Moto G6 Plus or Moto G4.
It is expected that this mobile was announced sometime in the first quarter of 2019, we do not know if in the MWC or in a separate event, as happened with the Moto G6.
Update 05-10-18: Evan Blass reveals that there will be four Moto G models
Evan Blass has published on his Twitter account what will be the four variants of the Moto G7. We will have the normal model, a Moto G7, and also a Moto G7 Plus, a Moto G7 Play and a Moto G7 Power, although that does not mean that they all go on sale in all markets.
Update 05-10-18: Photographs and product render
In an exclusive OnLeaks leak for MySmartprice, we see images and a video about how Motorola's new mid-range will be, giving us an idea of ??the complete design of the terminal.
