Although the new generation of Galaxy Tab it is launched in September and probably does it already with Key Lime Pie, the latest news pointed to Samsung I had no plans to upgrade to Android 5.0 previous generations. Despite this, it seems that users of Galaxy Tab 2, they can have some more joy since the South Koreans would be working on the upgrade to Android 4.2.2, which could even reach the first generation.
The users of the Galaxy Tab 2 they would probably be somewhat disappointed to know the list of devices that Samsung I planned to upgrade to Key Lime Pie and in which they were not included. However, according to a leak from the company that they received in SamMobile, some good news comes for them: Samsung is working right now to update them to Android 4.1.2 and will continue to do so until they reach Android 4.2.2, which would be the last version they would receive.
There is also good news for users of the first generation of Galaxy Tab since, according to the same filtration, Samsung I would also be trying to update them to Jelly bean and right now it would be testing to test Android 4.1.2 with the processor Tegra 2 T20 of these tablets. In this case, however, there is some more uncertainty, since, as we say, at the moment there is no confirmation of the difficulties that this may entail and for now it is nothing more than a test.
The news is the same for all other devices that have dual-core processors: none of them will receive any updates after Android 4.2.2. Regarding the date on which the update would be available, it seems that Samsung you plan to be before September, although it is not known if they would receive before Android 4.1 and at the end of summer Android 4.2.2 or they will then receive it directly.
