A phone more typical of the high range than the midrange

The Samsung Galaxy A9 2018 is Samsung's demonstration of wanting more prominence in the mid-range. In terms of design it still has the aesthetics of the Galaxy, without betting on the notch and still reserving the benefits of the Galaxy S and Note as the Edge edges for these ranges. In any case, it is not its design that stands out, but Its 5 cameras.

As for the screen, this A9 mounts a fairly large panel 6.28 inch in Full HD + resolution and with 18.5: 9 ratio. The screen technology is Super AMOLED, House brand and that leaves us a resolution of 2220 x 1080 pixels. Good features without too much flaunting that knowing how well Samsung treats its screens will place it in a higher ranking than its rivals.

This allows for benefits such as ambient display, something that Samsung continues to implement in each of its mobiles.

Inside we also have good news, since we have the Qualcomm Snapdragon 660 as a processor. This may vary according to the markets, since in others it will be sold with Samsung's proprietary chips, the Exynos. There will be no impediment in performance thanks to this processor that comes to surpass high-end processors such as the mythical 820. It is surprising, yes, that Samsung has not opted for the most modern Snapdragon 710, which use mobiles like the Xiaomi My 8 SE.

There will be two models, one with 8 GB of RAM and another with 6 GB of RAM, both with 128 GB of internal memory, which we can expand with microSD cards up to 512 GB. And this will not prevent us from using two SIMs at the same time since this terminal has three independent trays.

In the connectivity section we approach again what we see in the high-end, with dual SIM slot, Bluetooth 5.0, WiFi 5, FM Radio and even NFC.
