After OnePlus CEO Pete Lau confirmed on April 22 that the OnePlus 7 Pro will have 5G connection, the company has officially given the launch date of the phone: May 14 at 11 a.m. Eastern time / 8 a.m. United States Pacific time. The OnePlus 7 Pro is an updated version of the upcoming OnePlus 7 release. The company will hold four simultaneous events in New York, London, Bangalore (India) and Beijing. OnePlus is selling tickets for the event on its website; to have streaming of the event on the company's YouTube, Twitter and Facebook accounts.
Since 2014, when the company launched its first OnePlus One, OnePlus has earned a reputation for making affordable phones with specifications premium which can be compared to those of the iPhone, Galaxy S and other top-end phones. He OnePlus 7 and the 7 Pro are the successors of OnePlus 6T; The OnePlus 7 Pro is one of the first phones available to be compatible with 5G technology.
It is not clear if the company is going to launch the regular OnePlus 7 during the May 14 event, and a OnePlus representative declined to comment on the matter. But, it will make sense for both phones to be presented at the same time, and there have been rumors that speculate that both devices will debut on the same date.
