2018 has been a great year for Huawei in terms of terminals. He P20 Pro it was one of the most important of the first semester and the Mate 20 Pro He did the same in the second semester. But it is clear that the Chinese company cannot fall asleep on the laurels and is already advancing its next star terminal, the Huawei P30.
This model will come in two variants as we have seen in the leaks published today, although it is very possible that there is a third Lite that has trimmed features.
There will not be four cameras in the back area
One of the novelties of this year's high-end mobile phones has been the commitment to the triple rear camera. In the Huawei P20 Pro we saw how the telephoto was added to the normal and monochrome sensor and in the Mate 20 Pro the first was replaced by a wide angle.
In the Huawei P30 it seems that this choice will be maintained but for the camera gap in the Huawei P30 Pro it might seem that this would be the The brand's first mobile with four rear cameras, something that Huawei itself already advanced that they would do in 2019.
Huawei details its plans for 2019: 5G, four cameras and 10X optical zoom
Walter Ji, Huawei executive in Europe, has conducted an interview in which he talks about Huawei's plans for 2019 and involves 5G and better cameras.
However, other filtered images suggest that this will not be the case, keeping all three cameras in the rear area.
We do not know if we will see the expected 10x optical zoom in this model but the front fingerprint sensor will pass from the lower frame to the interior of the mobile, being activated through the screen.
It is very possible that the main sensor is the new Sony IMX607 that will have 38 Mpx and will be able to make even better photos in low light than those equipped with current models.
Details inherited from the Mate 20
The Huawei P30 will have a notch in the form of a drop of water, as in the Huawei Mate 20, but we do not know if the P30 Pro will include a larger one to put the 3D unlock system. In the filtered image it does not seem that way and in that case Huawei would dispense with the technology used in the Mate 20 Pro.
In the upper area we have the gaps for the microphone and the infrared sensor and in the lower zone that of the USB C connector and two more, which look like the speaker and the other microphone.
In the P30 Pro it seems that there will be a new button in the right side area, at the bottom, just where Sony puts its camera button. Is this the same case?
It is speculated that there will be 8 and 12 GB RAM models although we do not know if they will be the most powerful versions of the P30 and P30 Pro or if Huawei wants to punch the table by setting those as the starting versions.
Both the P30 and the P30 Pro will use the Kirin 980, the recently announced Huawei chip and released by the Mate 20.
