Diablo IV has just received about half an hour of play. The footage comes through Game Informer through its exclusive media coverage and focuses on one of the characters classified with the Brbaro. Check it out to see the brutal close combat here!
Blizzard unveiled the rumored next chapter of the Diablo franchise last weekend during BlizzCon this year. Although the publisher suffered massive scrutiny of the fans for his handling of the Hong Kong controversy, Diablo IV was simply such a big game announcement that once the trailers were running, everyone was talking about it.
But once you manage to separate the art from the editor, in fact there is much to be excited about. Diablo is returning to his darkest and shadows roots that made him the first unforgettable hack-and-slash classic. Behind the cartoons and color-soaked aesthetics of Diablo III. Instead, they greet us with a faint color palette while avoiding looking bored or lifeless. Quite the opposite. Diablo IV is full of detailed objects, landscapes and enemies. There is also a good variety of areas. From swampy swamps to rocky cliffs and even sandy deserts.
To begin the in-depth presentation of character classes, Blizzard went with the tried and true barbarian. As expected, it is a brutal close combat with him. Cutting, dicing and reducing evil monsters to gibs. It is satisfying to see pure force in action. However, we are still waiting for future magic-oriented classes to see flashy spells. Today's game footage is just about the game, so we really can't see the skill system.
Diablo IV has no release date and the developer already declares that the fans will have to wait a long time, even for Blizzard standards. Most likely, the game is a cross-generation title for current and next-generation consoles, along with the PC.
