first data of these phones

Xiaomi is one of the most mobile brands currently launched, partly because of its internationalization but also because it tries to cover almost all market segments, especially the most economical ones.

That is why the Redmi family, the lowest in its catalog, is so important. In it we will see next year new models and today we have heard not from one, but from two terminals that are currently under development.

Xiaomi Redmi Go, the first with Android Go

The first of the smartphones that has been leaked is the Xiaomi Redmi Go, a terminal that aspires to be the first to use the Android version for mobile phones exceptionally cheap and with very shortened features.

This model has been leaked no less than in three organizations aimed at controlling electronic devices sold in certain markets: the Singapore IMDA, the Russian EEC and the US FCC. In all three this model is called M1903C3GG. Presumably, at least in those three countries it will be put up for sale although we do not know whether in more markets.

Given the dimensions of this model (141 mm high and 71 mm wide) it is expected that the screen will be contained in size, like that of a Mi A2 Lite approximately.

It will have Android 9 Pie but under the Android GO version and it will only have 1 GB of RAM. In addition to those it is known that it will use a dual SIM slot, 2.4 GHz Wifi and Bluetooth 4.2.

Xiaomi Redmi Pro 2

On the other hand we have seen new data from Xiaomi Redmi Pro 2, the terminal that is at the other end of the Xiaomi catalog, always within the Redmi family.

This would be the successor of a strange model that was introduced a few years ago, the Xiaomi Redmi Pro, a mobile with a double camera, OLED screen and USB C port, something strange for the time.

The successor has been known for the filtration of two posters that show us what will be its processor, the Snapdragon 675. We do not know if this will be the same terminal that Xiaomi is creating with a 48 Mpx camera, but it would be quite logical.

In both cases it is likely that they will be announced at the CES of Las Vegas or at the MWC of 2019 in Barcelona.
