Without Netflix: what TV models cannot use the streaming service since December

 announced that its streaming service will stop working on some television models from December 1, 2019. In detail, the company said that access from some Smart TV screens from 2011 to 2012 will not be possible due to the technical limitations that They have integrated applications to access the catalog of series and movies.

The problem affects connected televisions of manufacturers such as Sony, Samsung and Toshiba that already have an antiquity of up to 10 years, and whose integrated application of Netflix will no longer be able to access the contents as of December. That does not mean that Smart TV loses its usefulness, since Netflix can be accessed through a video game console such as PlayStatio and Xbox, or with Amazon Fire devices, Google Chromecast or a Roku player.

What are the affected models?

In the case of
Samsung, the company said the Netflix measure
only affects the Smart TV models of 2010 and 2011. In particular, they are the
equipment identified with the letter C or D located at the end of the model name, next to the number that indicates the screen size. "If you have any of these models, you may see a message that says Netflix is ​​no longer available on this computer. However, you can still access this service if you connect another computer, such as a video game console, a streaming player to access the catalog from the television, "said the company
on your support site.

Sony, for its part, detailed in a statement that the
measure affects the models of TVs launched
between 2009 and 2012, and also details some Blu-ray player equipment
in the list.

Regarding Toshiba, the affected models are connected televisions identified as BDK21KU, BDX2150KU, BDX2200KU, BDX2250KU, BDX2500KU, BDX2700KU, BDX3000KU, BDX4150KU, BDX4200KU and BDX5200KU.

In turn, Netflix also clarifies what are the smart TV models that already have the integrated application, without using additional accessories.
