TikTok joins the Halloween wave and releases 60 new filters

Halloween is coming and few are those who resist celebrating the terror event of the year par excellence. Much less social networks, which from their platforms encourage us premiering exclusive contents of this holiday, as we have seen. Now it's the turn of TikTok, which has also introduced 60 themed filters because of Halloween and that will be available until November 7.

Recall that TikTok is one of the social networks with greater health today; its content, in fact, is being the source of many virals that we later see circulating on Twitter, especially those that are accompanied by background music.

Thus, the popular video social network has also hosted an event called #Creepyeffects so that users contribute their creations and join the activity that the community is developing during this holiday.

TikTok quintupled participation over last Halloween

As for the filters, those that make us stand out zombie, in a Mexican skull, in a skeleton or in Drcula. More specifically, among those who succeed in Spain are Neon Witch, Witch Dance, Shadow Face and Scream, accumulating more than 60,000 videos a day of the big event.

This is the second year that TikTok organizes an event for Halloween, in which it has already quintupled the data regarding the past year (6.5 million visits in a week). At the moment they have already been labeled more than 130,000 videos Only in the #Creepyeffects hastag, although users are also using others such as # Walklikeanangel, # terroren15seconds, # MiSpookyLooky #Spookyseason, especially the last one that just accumulates 1.4 billion visits at the time of writing these lines.

All this content can help us to get ideas for our Halloween costumes or to organize our parties, since many of the users are uploading related content.

Remember that you can download TikTok for free for Android and iOS, and Halloween filters will only be available until November 7.

Instagram also joins the party

How could it be less, Instagram is also taking advantage Halloween to give its users some filters with which to decorate their stories.

If we enter the camera of the stories we will see new effects of augmented reality that make us a "screamer", others that show us on the screen of an old TV to the SAW, another inspired by Mexican skulls … A total of 4 filters that will probably disappear after this holiday.
