<p style=Already last week I started talking about the first rumors of the Samsung Galaxy S6, which is expected to be one of thesmartphonesof reference in 2015. These rumors come in the form of specifications, which as we expected are impressive. Among them we have a screen 2K Sper AMOLED, 64-bit octa-core Exynos processor, 16 megapixel camera much improved and much more.

One of the things that Samsung has wanted to make quite clear is that it is a completely renewed device, which starts from scratch. Hence comes the name of the project, “Project Zero”

One of the things that also caught my attention, is in the versions that this terminal will be available, since we have 32, 64 and 128 GB, leaving aside the already standardized version of 16 GB. Personally it seems like a big step, since mobile technology was quite stagnant at 16 GB and I needed to get out of there, Hopefully 2015 will be the year in which the 32 GB versions are finally standardized.

The new news that Samsung brings us is referring to this, the internal storage. The company is working on making the leap to faster and more powerful storage chips. In a few weeks they will start producing UFS V2.0 memory chips. ANDThis translates into more than triple the speed of data transmission if we compare them with the current onesNAND Flash eMMC 5.0.To give you an idea, the current ones have a transmission rate of 400 MB / s, and those that Samsung intends to manufacture and incorporate they have a rate of 1440 MB / s or what is the same, 1.2 GB / s.

<p style=Not only will we have a change in the transmission speed, but also these chips improve energy consumption and they promise 50% less consumption. So not only will we have a very noticeable change in terms of data transmission, but also the battery of oursmartphone thank us.

It seems that all are advantages with these new chips and their high speeds, so Samsung also implement them on SD memory cards. This means that in the next generation we will not have so much speed problem in the terminals when we introduce a microSD card.

Everything indicates that these chips do not start to be introduced until the arrival of the Samsung Galaxy S6, so we will still have to wait to see them running on Samsung terminals. I say on Samsung terminals, why Xiaomi is also behind the manufacture of such memories, and we already know what the Chinese like to copy, and if they can take it out before, don’t doubt that we’ll see it sooner on their devices.

What do you think about these advances? Is there a need for renewal in this regard?
