Honor launchedY on May 21 in the middle of and the announcement of for the company's phones. Don't panic, these phones come with Android 9, and they will work properly. The future of both brands is yet to be determined.
And the company was happy to make its first launch in the West of its new phones. The event on May 21 in London marked a milestone for the Huawei sub-brand, which for the first time let China hold a global event, and the company let us know at a smaller event held in Palo Alto, California, a couple of weeks ago.
These two phones will not reach the United States "for the moment," although in the future they could land here, because the Trump administration has already said to allow thefor a limited period of time so as not to affect its customers.
Honor 20 and Honor 20 Pro, beautiful and with four cameras
The two new Honor phones are similar to each other, although they have some differences. The first thing you should know is that the two phones have four cameras – slightly different – and that although they are not signed by Leica like those of the Huawei P30 Pro, they are at first sight ideal for mid-range cell phones.
The most interesting thing I found in theIt was his macro camera, which allows you to take photos of details difficult to obtain with other lenses. To this we must add that the two phones have the same processor of the P30 Pro, the Kirin 980, and although they do not have a fingerprint sensor on the screen, they only have it on one side, which does not hinder their front panel, which has few bezels and a little hole at the top for the camera.
Both phones have a 6.26-inch screen, the same chip and differ in particular in that the Honor 20 Pro has 8GB of RAM and 256GB of storage and the Honor 20 6GB and 128GB, respectively. To this we must add that the most expensive version has 4,000mAh battery and the regular 3,750mAh. Of course, forget the headphone jack, wireless charging or water resistance, because none of them have it.
Honor 20 Pro: An OK phone with four cameras
The Honor 20 is priced at 490 euros (US $ 557), and the Honor 20 Pro of 650 euros (US $ 725). Availability be determined in each market.
