NT-K Quercus 9.7: The Spanish tablet with Quad-Core Processor and 9.7 "for only 250 euros

Spanish manufacturing technology products are increasingly fashionable. Companies like Geeksphone and bq are beginning to take great steps in the technology market, and many others are encouraging to follow in their footsteps. This is the case of NT-K, a Spanish brand that you have probably heard about having won a trial nothing more and nothing less than Apple.

After settling moderately as a low-cost company, NT-K has decided to make the leap to the high range with a Quercus 9.7, a 9.7-inch tablet with a quad-core processor that will cost only 250 euros, just as our Smartphone’s World friends yesterday filtered. These are its technical specifications:

 • Quad-Core 1.5 GHz AllWinner A31 (Cortex A7)
 • 2 GB of RAM
 • 9.7-inch IPS screen with a resolution of 2048 x 1536
 • 16 GB internal memory (expandable via microSD cards)
 • 8000 mAh battery
 • 2 mpx front camera
 • 5 mpx rear camera with LED flash
 • Bluetooth / FM Radio / Wi-Fi / HDMI
 • Android 4.1 (Update to 4.2 on the way)

No doubt they are dazzling features for the price we are talking about (250 euros). Of all of them I would highlight the screen, which has the same characteristics as that of the iPad 4: 9.7 inches; 4: 3 format; 2048 x 1536 resolution; IPS technology

Too It is worth mentioning the inclusion of a quad-core processor and 2 GB of RAM, in addition to a rear camera, something we are not used to seeing in tablets of this size and this price range. Likewise, it seems to be constructed of aluminum, a fairly premium material that gives a perfect balance between lightness and hardness.

Finally, I must also emphasize that This tablet is totally made in Spain. That is, all the manufacturing of the product takes place in Spain, unlike other brands that use foreign labor. This means that we are facing a 100% Spanish product.

At first, this would be presented throughout this month of June and would reach the market shortly after, so it may be a tough rival (at least on paper) for all those competitors that are coming in the second half of the year (see the new Nexus 7 and the next Nexus 10).
