IPad network configuration revealed

Our 9to5Mac friends have managed to access the network configuration of the iPad using the simulator:

<img class = "alignnone size-full wp-image-914″ title=”ipad-preferences-network” alt=”ipad-preferences-red "src =" "width =" 377 "height = "480" srcset = " 471w, /2010/03/Screen-shot-2010-03-05-at-12.55.57-AM-275×350.png 275w "sizes =" (max-width: 377px) 100vw, 377px”/>

The images show that lThe structure of the network preferences panel on the iPad is practically identical to that of the iPhone, except that, thanks to the 9-inch screen of the tablet, it is much easier to navigate through the different sections.

<img class = "alignnone size-full wp-image-915″ title=”ipad-preferences-network” alt=”ipad-preferences-red "src =" "width =" 414 "height =" 550 "srcset =" 2010/03 / iPad_settings2.png 414w,×350.png 263w "sizes =" (max-width: 414px) 100vw, 414px”/>

Among the different options we see one of the most interesting is the tethering. With this feature you can use the iPad as a modem and access, thanks to him, the internet on any computer and from anywhere in the world.

<img class = "alignnone size-full wp-image-916″ title=”ipad-tethering” alt=”ipad-tethering "src =" "width =" 414 "height =" 550 "srcset =" 03 / iPad_settings4.png 414w,×350.png 263w "sizes =" (max-width: 414px) 100vw, 414px”/>

With tethering it is possible to share the 3G data connection via the USB connection, the bluetooth and through the WiFi, so the iPad can become an access point.
