New Nexus 7 is now official, with Android 4.3, spectacular resolution and unleashed power

It's been a few weeks with a volume of leaks of news in the Android world comprehensive. This seems like a non-stop, and between a Moto X of which practically everything is known except the official price and the LG G2 of which the Korean company itself seems to want to tell everything before officially presenting it, the rhythm is maddening.

But Google is also doing its thing not to fall short in this new war of presentations that has been waged several weeks before. The leaks They are already part of the universe that surrounds each device, and knowing how to play your cards well in this area is almost as important as launching a good product.

We had little to know about the new Google Nexus 7, and it is that even some have begun to receive the unit that they had been able to reserve, at least according to them, as strange as it may sound, in certain stores in the United States. With that almost everything is sold, but Google has just officially introduced the new Nexus 7, a tablet that replaces a device that has changed the concept of this type of terminals. With the Nexus 7 Google managed to lose a ? 7 tablet of 200 ? that finally worked smoothly and did not give problems, something that seemed a challenge seeing what was in the market.

How upgrade in question, the new Nexus 7 becomes an improved model of the previous one, in which features such as the camera, processor or RAM memory increase. Here you have the complete list of the specifications of the new Nexus 7:

 • Android 4.3 Jelly Bean
 • 7 ? IPS display with 1920 x 1200 pixel resolution
 • Anti fingerprint and anti scratch technology
 • Qualcomm Snapdragon S4 Pro 1.5GHz processor
 • Adreno 320 GPU
 • 2GB DDR3 RAM
 • 16GB and 32GB internal memory models
 • 5MP main camera
 • 1.2MP front camera
 • SlimPort port that allows HD video output
 • 3950 mAh battery
 • Enhanced sound with stereo speakers for a surround experience.
 • WiFi 802.11a / b / g / n and Bluetooth 4.0
 • 8.65 mm thick and 290 grams in weight

Many interesting things of these characteristics, but one that stands out above all. The Nexus 7 will be the first device to be sold with Android 4.3 Factory installed, and finally we have the official confirmation of its existence, because until now, however real it was, it had only reached us through leaks. Although we tell you all about the new Android 4.3, we anticipate that some novelties are persistent notifications (I still have doubt of this as an advantage), the option that Google can use WiFi for geolocation even if we have it disabled, the (finally ) incorporation of T9 dialing in the renewed dialer, camera and gallery, OpenGLES 3.0 support and a few more things.

As we anticipated this morning, finally that leak on the 4GB of RAM has proved to be false. In fact it probably was not, and it was simply a test model that was around, but the important thing is that the Nexus 7 has 2GB of RAM, which seems much more logical than doubling it up to 4GB. Today such a large RAM is not needed, and it would possibly fall too far into the bottom of the trap of uncontrolled hardware augmentation just to sell better features, without really needing them.

Let's now look at the bowels of the chipset of the new Nexus 7. We find a CPU Snapdragon S4 Pro Krait 300 at 1.5 GHz and an Adreno 320 GPU. In comparison, the previous model had an Nvidia Tegra 3 with a Cortex-A9 quad-core 1.2 GHz CPU and ULP GeForce GPU. The difference is evident? Yes, and a lot. In fact, the processor that carries this new Nexus 7 is the one with the Nexus 4, so the performance and speed increase greatly. In this section the improvement should be more than remarkable.
