International.- Thanks to its format, Twitter has become one of the social networks with more experience in the market, with more than 330 million active users per month. Although it is true that it has great rivals such as Instagram (which triumphs with its Stories) or Facebook (whose main strength is its large number of users and which, in turn, have become the great attraction for the social network).

But, to try to fight against these attractions of other social networks, it has now been possible to know that the social network of the blue bird, Twitter, is considering the possibility of allowing users to publish ephemeral tweets, that is to say they will disappear after a time of completion, as with Instagram Stories.

The possibility of sharing content with selected audiences is also considered

The social network is also exploring, in turn, the ability to allow content only with selected audiences. With these possibilities, what the social network is looking for is that users can have more control over the scope of their tweets.

As Kayvon Beykpour, Twitter product manager and creator of Periscope has acknowledged, “tweets that disappear after a while can be very useful for specific times when users want to share a message, but don't want it to last forever on your timeline. "

Brittny Forks has launched a survey to find out the opinion of users

But, regarding the audience control mechanism and the possibility of publishing tweets to which only a limited number of users can respond, the manager has been more prudent and says that “I think other areas, such as controlling who can see or who You can participate, it's really critical. ”

Beykpour believes that most users seek to interact openly with other Internet users and that is why the social network does not facilitate or encourage closed discussion, at least for now. In addition, it is clear that the company is analyzing these issues since Brittny Forks, a Twitter product designer has raised this through a tweet with issues related to audience control mechanisms.
