Video: Meet Finger Reader, the ring that reads aloud

In the MIT Media Labs, researchers Shilkrot and Huber are developing the FingerReader, a ring that adapts to the fingers and can read a text from any book just by pointing it out, thanks to a camera installed in it.

The lightweight device is placed on the fingers, points to the text of preference and with the built-in camera you can read. It's like having a storyteller at hand; However, he still does not read texts with very small sources, nor does he get too far from it, but he can read all the words in their entirety, and none at the same time.

According to the Tech Crunch portal, Shilkrot have set the stage for people with visual disabilities to use it; but for this they propose to create in the future a Reader Pen with the characteristics to read Braille.

There is still no release date for this new device, nor is it known what the sale price of this is. What is certain is that these researchers will bring many more surprises to simplify everyone's life.
