The DRM may return to Apple because of the eBooks

iPad Books

Apple can win headaches again with the e-book store that can be downloaded and used on the iPad. Apparently, the e-books present in the iBook Store will have the FairPlay protection that Apple used previously in their songs. In other words, the books will have DRM.

Apple was able to comment on the issue in the past: Steve Jobs himself published a letter on the official website of the company where his opinions on the subject and the possibilities that were available in those days were made clear and later announced the cancellation of FairPlay releasing the songs and entering the variable prices in the songs. So why come back now to enclose content?

The cause will surely have been the pressures that publishers will have made in Cupertino so that Apple could boast in the iPad keynote of having contracts with most of the major publishing companies in the market. At the moment the company has not made any type of declarations in relation to this matter.
