Samsung Galaxy S10 receives Note10 features in its latest software update

Galaxy Note10 and Note10 + are packed with powerful tools that help people develop their creativity and be much more productive. Currently, with an update that was made on September 23 for Europe, Samsung Electronics is presenting many of those same innovations – which include features such as AR Drawings, a built-in video editor and the link integration to Windows, to Galaxy S10e, S10, S10 + and S10 5G.

When users of Galaxy S10 download the update, discover that the professional camera of your smartphone offers more possibilities. This update expands the night mode of the camera to also include support for the front camera, offering users more freedom to take more vivid photos after dark. In addition, it improves the stabilization of the SuperStable mode for video, and offers support for dynamic functions of Galaxy Note10 as AR Drawings and Dynamic Video. The first allows users to improve their recordings with funny drawings and augmented reality messages, while the second allows them to apply bokeh effects (including light spots and black and white background, among others) to videos made with the front camera or rear.

Each time the Galaxy S10 users record a video, the new video editor, accessible from the Galley application, shows all the tools that could turn it into valuable content to share with others. This function facilitates the editing of videos like a professional, and presents simple tools to trim clips, join them, adjust the playback speed, among others. You can even use the function to add subtitles and background music to the videos to make them even more original.

The update also incorporates Samsung DeX functionality by connecting the mobile to a PC. When users download the app from SamsungDeX.com on their PC or Mac, they can start Samsung DeX simply by connecting their Galaxy S10 via USB connection. Windows support has also been added, so Galaxy S10 users can connect to their Windows 10 computer, wirelessly, and thus view files, send and receive messages, and save their photos easily on the computer.

Jiyoun Mun, R&D engineer at Samsung Electronics, explains what this Galaxy S10 update means, to offer users the latest innovations. At Samsung Electronics, we are constantly looking for new ways to offer Galaxy family users the best smartphone experience, and this update is a reflection of that goal, said Mun.

The applications that Galaxy S10 users use daily, such as Samsung Pass and Messages, have also been updated to be more versatile and comfortable. Now, Samsung Pass has been simplified, facilitating the use of biometric security systems to access applications and websites quickly and safely. In the Messages application, new improvements have been added to make the use of photos and videos more intuitive.
