WhatsApp already has the function of deleting messages manually when we do not want them to remain registered forever in some chat. But now, the messenger service is testing to improve this mechanism: causing messages to self-destruct.

According WABetaInfo, the new function called ?messages that disappear? the hall for the first time in version 2.19.275 of the Android application. The update is still in beta, so it is not yet available. However, as in apps such as Telegram or Gmail that already have this self-destructive function, it could be very useful for users who usually share very confidential information through WhatsApp.
Apparently, the function is at a very early stage of development. The report does not indicate whether we will see this update coming soon, but it should be noted that only the messages marked as "disappeared", enabling the "Messages that disappear" option, is how the self-destruct mechanism is activated. So far, WhatsApp only allows this configuration in intervals of 5 seconds and one hour, without intermediates. And it serves both private and group chats, but of course, later there may be some changes.
