The Huawei MediaPad M6 Turbo Edition is about to arrive

Huawei MediaPad M6 Turbo Edition

In mid-June, Huawei launched its most powerful smart tablet yet. This was the MediaPad M6 and, as expected, it is located at the top of its segment thanks to all the power sponsored by the company's HiSilicon Kirin 980, the eight-core SoC that can reach a maximum clock frequency of 2.6 GHz and comes loaded with the 720 MHz twelve-core Mali-G76 GPU.

Now the Chinese manufacturer has a special edition of this one that comes under the name MediaPad M6 Turbo Edition. This is provided with some changes at the aesthetic level, and all these are detailed below.

Through the Weibo social network, Huawei announced that as of tomorrow the tablet will be available in pre-sale plan in China, at the same time that he gave the official poster of it to complement the announcement. In this it can be seen that it makes use of a more colorful aesthetic than that of the original models. Based on the rear panel, it has a gradient and “X” shaped marks that remind us of the Honor 9X, as well as the text “Sound By Harman / Kardon” that makes us believe that it has better speakers.

The poster also shows that the tablet has an additional button on the side in addition to the volume control and the power button. It seems that its function is to activate the "Turbo" mode, which will increase performance when running heavy apps, demanding and not so demanding games and more.

The rest, The MediaPad Me Turbo Edition retains the features and technical specifications we already knew in the MediaPad M6. This will be offered only in the 8.4-inch screen size. It will also have the aforementioned Kirin 980 along with 6 GB of LPDDR4x RAM and 128 GB of expandable storage (up to 512 GB max.). In turn, it will carry a 6,100 mAh battery capacity, a 13 MP rear camera and an 8 MP front camera.
