How to configure automatic updates in Windows 10

Microsoft is clear: the only way to make your operating system, currently in its version of Windows 10, remains the most powerful in the world and that offers a richer variety of benefits is to make sure to launch constant updates of your software.

To do this, the company of Bill Gates uses a function called Windows Update. Thanks to it, PC users have new and better versions of their programs and tools at their fingertips. All this makes it easier to protect against viruses and content malware.

Configure when automatic updates will be installed

one. Click on the Start button that you will find to the left of the toolbar of your screen and open the panel of Configuration by clicking on the gear icon.

2. In the menu of Windows settings, click on the section Update and security.

3. In Windows Update, look for the option Advanced Options what do you see in the section Update Settings and click on it.

4. In section Choose when updates will be installed, you can configure to your liking when these automatic updates will take place or choose to postpone them during certain days.

Pause automatic updates temporarily

2. In the menu of Windows settings, click on the section Update and security.

Disable automatic Windows Update updates
