GoPro Hero 8 Black: the all-terrain camera now adds a microphone, LED lights and an extra screen

This is what the new GoPro Hero 8 Black looks like with all the Mods, the accessory system that allows you to add better features for content producers and vloggers

presented the new version of his action camera
Hero 8 Black, a model with a design similar to its predecessors, but that
now has Mods, a system that allows adding a
microphone, an LED light and an additional screen. With a base price of 399 dollars, this new generation of accessories seeks to provide a practical solution for content producers who choose this type of all-terrain equipment.

These accessories, called Mods, allow the simultaneous incorporation of the GoPro Hero 8 Black with a directional microphone, a compact system of LED lights and an additional screen that allows viewing the contents registered by the camera. In detail, the Media Mod, priced at 79 dollars, adds to the Hero 8 Black a frame with an integrated microphone, next to a USB Type-C port, an HDMI connector and 3.5-millimeter connectors, in addition to the space necessary to hook the other two Mods.

For its part, the Display Mod has a 1.9-inch screen and is the ideal accessory to take a selfie or to keep track of video productions. The new accessory line is completed with the Light Mod, a 200 lumens LED lighting system. Both the screen and LED lights have their own batteries, which operate independently of the Hero 8 Black camera.

As for the camera, the Hero 8 Black has a 12 megapixel sensor to capture 4K video at 60 frames per second and maintains the HyperSmooth function, present in the previous one. With a similar appearance in design, the new GoPro camera does not require an extra frame to connect to the supports and accessories, a modality that facilitates the use of the Hero 8 Black.

Water resistant to 10 meters, the GoPro Hero 8 Black maintains its commitment to action cameras, but also points to the user producing content, such as vloggers who want to have a compact team for their productions on YouTube and social networks.

GoPro also presented the Max camera, a model equipped with a double lens to capture 360-degree content, available at $ 499.99. For its part, the model
Hero 7 Black is priced at $ 329.99.
