Imagine that you are watching a football game of your favorite team and you feel like a good lemonade fra, but you do not want to get up from the chair to get one to not miss any goal. Then, instead of going to the kitchen refrigerator, you open the table in the center of your living room and get a cold drink, to the amazement of your friends.

This and more, is precisely what you could do thanks to the creation of Slim Geransar and the Storebound company, who added the functionality of a refrigerator to a table in the center of the room, and a prototype of the Sobro table was on display at the International Home and Housewares Show this week.

In addition to cooling, this smart table has a modern design, USB ports, sockets for all your devices, and many other functions that you may need to make your stay in your room more comfortable and functional. It has three drawers, one of which is refrigerated. The other two smaller ones are to store what you need.

This table actually has a compressor, so it does more than keep the drinks cold. You can adjust the temperature from 37 to 41 degrees Fahrenheit (3 to 5 degrees Celsius) through touch screens on the table. The controls, which also allow you to adjust the music you can play through the built-in speakers, are under a tempered glass panel and will not cause any short circuit if you spill your soda by accident. And you can control it from your phone.

The table synchronizes with your devices via Bluetooth to play your music, and its creators want to create an adapter that will also allow you to work with smart TVs. Around the base of the table are LED lights, which touch controls can also change colors and intensity.

One thing to keep in mind is that this table will obviously have to be connected to a power source, so you will have to deal with a cable that will go through the floor of your living room.

Slim Geransar was present at the IHH show to talk about the product, and told Digital Trends that there are some design features that are still to be defined, such as if the table will have two or four plugs, and that they are also working on make sure it meets the safety standards.

Currently, the Sobro table is being offered at a discount to those who support the project in Indiegogo, at $ 499 dollars. Once it goes on the market, it will sell for $ 1,500 dollars, with a projected date for September of this year.
