Android Messages adopts Material Design and a new dark mode

Two Androids

After «Contacts», «News» or «Tasks», it is time for Posts Android also upgrade to Material Design. The application has already received a breath of fresh air – it can be seen in the last APK of the system – to adapt to the new environment that will eventually star in the entire mobile OS interface.

Say goodbye because you have left behind (well, more or less) the aspect you know of Messages on Android. The application has been the next to receive a face lift, which is already possible to see in the most recent APK available, and in which you can see a more minimalist and clean air with the use in addition to the Google Sans font.

It's not the only change. The most vibrant colors are also left behind to give way to an image where white predominates much more.

Don't you like so much clarity and "cleanliness"? Well, be calm because the latest version comes with surprise. It turns out that the app will also offer a new "dark mode" native that will leave behind light tones to bet on a practically black environment – in the image you have on these lines you can see how it looks.

In Android Central They say that to activate it you just have to go to the three points in the upper right corner and select from the menu that the option “Enable dark mode” (“Enable dark mode”) appears. In case you want to remove it, you just have to perform the same procedure to then tap on “Disable dark mode”.

The update may already be available to some but in case you haven't reached or have access, you know you have a direct link to the latest APK (in which the redesign does apply) just by clicking right here.
