Wolder, the Spanish manufacturer, has decided to renew its entire range of tablets. Well, not all. But the amount is really high. We have models from seven to ten inches and all of them have improved compared to the previous alternatives.
Their specifications do not place them in the high range, but they have a great quality / price. Especially because of the fact include Android 4.4 KitKat, being of the few tablets (even at this point) to have the latest version of Android for such a reduced price. Let's take a look, prepared because they are quite similar to each other, although we can find some peculiar.
The first tablet is a computer with a display of 7 ?, 800 × 480 resolution, a weight of 267g, Dual Core 1.5GHz processor, 4GB of flash memory, 1GB of RAM and Android 4.4 KitKat.
A fairly normal specifications but at a price of ? 59, low enough to compete against any input range with the addition of the latest version of Android.
The second tablet on the list is an eight-inch one, specifically 7.9 ?, and its resolution increases to be HD in 4: 3 format (1024 x 768 pixels) as a negative note we have a multitouch response of only 5 points. The processor remains the same although at 1.6GHz and the internal memory also improves, even 8GB.
In terms of design is improved to get 8mm thick thanks to an ultra-thin glass. And the best is still KitKat and the price of ? 89 for the miTab Live.
We are finally facing the first tablet with a more conventional screen. A panel 7.9 ? IPS with 1024 x 768 resolution pixels Inside we have a quad-core processor and we continue with 1GB of RAM. As a curious note we have microHDMI and microSD card.
In the multimedia section we have a 2MP rear camera. And regarding the battery we don't have great information, since they promise 4h of video but they don't say anything about the milliampere hour. The price? ? 119.
miTab Like / Follow
We go to the largest tablets. From 9 and 9.7 ? respectively. The first one has a dual-core processor, with 8GB of flash memory, 10mm thick and 457 grams in weight. For ? 89 is an option to consider, of the few tablets of less than ? 100 and almost 10 ? that have KitKat.
The miTab Follow is similar but with a processor Quad-core, a screen IPS reinforced, 2MP, 1GB and somewhat thicker rear camera; 11mm Your sale price ? 139.
We are facing a 9.7 ? tablet with a IPS panel and a resolution 2048 x 1536, quite high and in principle sufficient to guarantee good multimedia quality. To move this screen we have a processor 1.6GHz quad-core, 2GB of RAM and 32GB storage, which is appreciated on a tablet.
As negative notes the weight of 542g, the multi-touch response and that battery that is still 4 hours. And unfortunately, this time we don't have KitKat but Android 4.2 JB, surely for compatibility with the chosen processor. Its price goes to 229 euros.
miTab Think and miTab EVOLUTION W2
Finally we have the miTab Think 10.1 ? and 16:10 format with 1024 x 600 resolution, 1.2GHz quad-core processor, 1GB of RAM and KitKat for ? 109.
And finally the renewal of the evolution range, with the miTab EVOLUTION W2: 1.5GHz quad-core processor and PowerVR SGX540 GPU, IPS HD panel with resolution 1280 x 800 pixels, 6000mAh, 1GB, 2MP rear camera, 16GB expandable, Mini HDMI and Android 4.4 KitKat.
The interesting thing is that for the price of ? 179 includes an adapted keyboard case. And is that this Evolution W2 is possibly the most complete of all. Without having a high resolution panel, we do believe it is The most balanced.
