It's official: Apple's next big event is scheduled for September 10. It will probably be the occasion to see the next iPhone range, as well as a new Apple Watch.
Apple sent invitations to the media confirming those details, which were already rumored several weeks ago, in which you can see a different design of the iconic apple of the company, which comes in pastel and translucent colors.
Historically, Apple has celebrated its annual iPhone launch event in September, so this year we expect three new products: iPhone 11 Pro, iPhone 11 and iPhone 11R. Obviously these names are provisional and many think that it is likely to be a situation similar to the iPhone event last year, when we saw the iPhone XS Max, iPhone XS and iPhone XR.
It is rumored that the next iPhone has a number of improved features, such as batteries with more capacity, better camera functions, particularly with low light photography, as well as Face ID updates. The screen sizes and display panels are expected to be the same, with two OLED models and the 11R opting for LCD.
The biggest change will come with the camera: it is said that there will be three camera lenses on at least one of the iPhone models, adding a wide angle lens and a telephoto lens to the standard camera. It is a trend that we are seeing with most of the high-end smart phones: the LG V50 ThinQ, the Samsung Galaxy Note 10 and the Huawei P30 Pro have triple camera lenses with similar configurations.
Apple could even adopt a useful function that is seen in the Huawei and Samsung phones, which allows you to wirelessly recharge other devices by placing them on the back of the phone. If this rumor is true, allow to recharge the AirPods headphones through the wireless charging case with the new iPhone.
There are not many rumors about the next Apple Watch, except that we can see it in ceramic and titanium versions.
Apple's presentation will take place from 10 a.m. PT on September 10 and will take place at the Steve Jobs Theater located inside the Apple Park campus in Cupertino, California. In Digital Trends we will cover the event and keep you informed with all the announcements and news.
