Epic Games gave an interesting twist to Fortnite's history with its latest collaboration with the Marvel team to celebrate Avengers: Endgame. Now, everything seems to indicate that the study has set itself on bringing another popular world to Fortnite: the series Stranger Things from Netflix.
While there is no official news from Netflix or Epic Games about it, several players have discovered portals in the game that resemble those of the popular science fiction suspense and horror space, whose third season is scheduled for the week of 4 July.
In his official Twitter account, Netflix published a cryptic message, with letters that are leading, but in which you can read the phrase fraseit is almosttime ’, or "it's almost time."

The portals to enter the dark World of Revs
In the first season of the show, the young heroes face a creature called Demogorgon, which comes from a place known as Upside Down, which translates as World of Revs. This alternative dimension is a dark parallel to the real one, and to access it you must use portals that appear in various places. Interestingly, you can now see the same type of portals around the map in Fortnite: Battle Royale.
As it stands today, if you walk through the portals in Fortnite: Battle Royale you can see that the world goes dark and the player is transported to another part of the map. We think that this could be a good way to provoke a next collaboration between Fortnite and Stranger Things, perhaps a sign of more important things to come.
This collaboration is likely to follow the same pattern as the previous ones, which means that players will receive character masks with Stranger Things themes, as well as accessories, weapons and more. The appearance of the UpsideDown portals probably means that some special events are also to come.
It could also mean that some strange creatures may also come from the other side, and not only let the characters have access to this dark world. Surely, we will find out soon, as the full disclosure is likely to coincide with the launch of the third season of Stranger Things this week.
