The technology also gets into the furniture of the home and the fair
de Berlin was the scene chosen by the South Korean giant Samsung to present
AirDresser, a closet equipped with a system of hangers and fans that remove dust and bad odors from garments.
"AirDresser offers an efficient system for users to refresh and revitalize their presses," Samsung said in a statement. The equipment, which resembles a closet in size, allows you to tune a shirt, pants or bag already used by a pressurized and steam air system, called JetAir and JetSteam, which removes dust, bacteria and the smell of the clothes.
AirDresser has two cleaning modes, with pressurized air and steam
"This way, you can save time and money, with less shipping to the dry cleaner," the company adds.
Samsung is not the first company to offer this device. In previous editions of the IFA in Berlin, the LG firm presented the
Styler technology closet, with a system similar to that used by AirDresser. Whirpool, meanwhile, had also developed its own steam cleaning system with the Swash model.
The Samsung AirDresser closet does not have a defined price, and is on display at the stand that the South Korean company has at IFA 2019, the consumer technology fair where the main companies in the sector announce their launches for the European market.
