Samsung is implementing a new update for its Galaxy A50 device. This new update is responsible for improving the battery charge of the device; It also improves the performance functionality of the Smartphone's fingerprint reader. The usual package of stability adjustments and performance improvements are also present in the package.
The new update is serial number A505FDDU2ASH3 and has a 320 MB weight. Apart from the improvements in the battery charge, The update also offers the August security patch. The change log indicates that the security of the device has been improved; It is not entirely clear if they refer to the security patch that the update brings or if Samsung is providing some other kind of security improvement through the new update.
Within the new update, Snapchat is preinstalled, something that is quite curious. Something similar happened with the Galaxy A70 which received a lot of third-party applications through an update. Fortunately, all these applications can be uninstalled without any problem; however we will have to wait to see if this will also be the case of the Galaxy A50 update. The update is currently being implemented in the most important market for the device, which is that of India.
Of course the update should be appearing in more countries where the Smartphone is available. The update is being implemented through OTA, so the safest thing is that it goes gradually as the days go by. You can try to force the verification of the update through the menu Configuration >> Software update.
It is greatly appreciated that Samsung takes the job of bringing new updates to all its devices.
