Samsung has carried out this year a whole exchange operation for its Galaxy A. These terminals are designed to fight against almost everything that is not a flagship, for which the company has the Note and the Galaxy S.
In the Galaxy A we have from very cheap phones like the Galaxy A10 to other quite innovative ones, such as the Galaxy A80.
It seems that this execution has worked well for Samsung because, according to the latest leaks, the company would be working on two new models, more similar to the A80 than the A10.
Snapdragon 855 and triple camera
The two models seem to be in family A by their code names, SM-A908 and SM-A905.
The two would have one huge 6.7 inch screen, which is the size that is beginning to be adopted as normal in the high range. Under it would be the fingerprint sensor.
As we say, they would be terminals focused to the top of the catalog since the Snapdragon 855 will be the processor they would carry. We do not know if there will be alternative versions with Samsung Exynos processors.
The SM-A908 will have a triple rear camera of 48 + 8 + 5 Mpx and will have 5G connectivity, being a cheaper version of the S10 5G. For its part, the SM-A905 will have a triple rear camera, but this time with another resolution, 48 + 12 + 5 Mpx, and with a new video stabilization technology.
It is possible that one of these phones is presented as Galaxy A90 (or even both for different markets).
At the moment we do not know when these models will be presented, the markets in which they will be put up for sale, much less when we can buy them. The Samsung Galaxy A80 was announced months ago and has not yet reached stores.
