Unlike the Pro model, the OnePlus 7 maintains the essence of the company, so much that we can even say that it is a tremendously continuous telephone, especially in terms of design. Known design, enhanced power
As is already felt by the holder of this analysis, the design of the OnePlus 7 is very similar to that of the OnePlus 6T. The phone is not a generational change like the OnePlus 7 Pro, but we can say that it is almost an evolution of 6T.
The OnePlus 7 screen keeps the smallnotchin the form of a drop that the previous model is, although its size grows from 6 inches to 6.41 inches. However, it manages to maintain the same resolution of 2340×1080 pixels. It is an AMOLED screen manufactured by Samsung that during the time we have tested the phone, has left us an impeccable viewing experience.
It is a comfortable phone in hand thanks to its dimensions that allow us an ergonomic grip although it is not very light (182 grams). Another feature that the OnePlus 7 maintains of the OnePlus 6T's DNA is that you can use its gesture systems to control the phone with one hand. This feature is one of the most useful things in the use I gave the phone on the day, especially to access the camera or recently opened applications.
The back of the OnePlus 7 is devoid of the fingerprint sensor, as the company once again opted for the incorporation of this element under the screen. The novelty is that the area of this fingerprint reader is greater than in the OnePlus 6T, (specifically 30 percent higher) which considerably reduces the chances of error in the recognition of the fingerprint.
In addition, it is faster than in the OnePlus 6T and that of other current phones such as the Matte 20 Pro, the P30 Proo the. Along with this unlocking option, the phone also offers facial recognition (2D) as an alternative, although that unlocking method is not as safe as it is on the latest generation iPhone.
But there is also bad news that we should point out: the OnePlus 7, like its predecessor, does not have a traditional headphone jack (although it does include an adapter).
Performance: between the OnePlus 6T and the OnePlus 7 Pro
As we can see, the changes with respect to the OnePlus 6T are not very important abroad, but the new phone significantly improves the performance of the fingerprint sensor on the screen and also its power in general. The phone has a Qualcomm Snapdragon 855 processor accompanied by 6/8 GB of RAM and 128GB or 256GB of internal storage.
With this internal configuration, the OnePus 7 offers a tremendously fluid performance, something that is not surprising since the OnePlus 6T was one of the fastest cell phones in the 2018 market even with a less advanced processor than the OnePlus 7.
In the same way as the OnePlus 6T, this phone has a Boost Mode, an algorithm that allows you to get more out of the device's RAM in frequently used applications. East Boost Mode It allows the applications we use most to open faster and not slow down the cell phone.
