In case it does not seem quite obvious how to make the most of this new and practical function of the platform, in this article we will show you step by step to download Netflix movies. You only need an active account and an updated device connected to the network.

In any case, we recommend you always have your mobile or computer connected to a Wi-Fi network, since the downloaded files usually weigh a lot and that can consume many megabytes of your data rate.
How to install Netflix on your device
First of all, you should know that the famous movie and series service in streaming only allows downloading content in smartphones Y tablets with iOS 8 (or higher) or Android 4.4.2 (or higher). In the case of PCs and laptops, minimum Windows 8 is required.
You should also make sure that you have the latest version of the Netflix application installed on your mobile, laptop or computer. Keep in mind that the download option is only available from the official app. You will not find it if you use the service from the web.
When you open the application, and after you have logged in, click on the icon formed by three horizontal lines in the upper left corner to display the menu. In it, you will find the new section called Available for download.
Within the section, you will see all the movies, series, documentaries and programs that can be downloaded legally, that is, those that Netflix has the rights to. That means that most of them are of own production.

How to download Netflix movies

Taken this difficult decision, select the content you want to see offline, either when you are traveling by subway or on a transocenic flight, and click on the arrow shaped icon pointing down that you see next to each episode.
Once the download is finished, a new one will appear blue icon with the symbol of approval. That means that the movie or chapter of your choice has been saved successfully in the section of My downloads.
To access it, click on the drop-down menu at the top left and look for the download option. Open the section, just look for the video you want to see, click on the button play and to enjoy!
It is good to know that video quality can be changed before downloading. To do this, you will need to visit the section of Configuration: Click on the three ellipses in the upper right corner.
In the drop-down menu, look for the section of downloads, followed by Video quality and select the high.
Keep in mind that the higher the quality, the more time you need to download the movie, the more data you consume from your rate and the more space you occupy on your device. That is why we recommend choosing the high resolution when you have enough GB on your mobile.
How to save non-downloadable Netflix content

one. First, download and install a screen capturer on your computer or laptop. There are several programs for this purpose, such as the free CamStudio and Screencast-O-Matic or the paid applications Audials Moviebox and Camtasia Studio.
In this tutorial, we will use CamStudio, available only for Windows devices. To install it, simply follow the simple steps indicated by the installation program.
two. Once the installation is finished, open CamStudio and have the Netflix video you want to capture ready, either in the browser or in the official application of the platform.
In the pestaa Region (Regin in Spanish), select Full screen from the drop-down menu for the grabber to record the entire screen while the movie is playing. By default, CamStudio only captures a part of the monitor.
3. Also by default, the program does not record audio. To change the settings, click on Options (Options in Spanish), followed by Record audio from speakers from the menu to capture the sound coming from the speakers.
Then we get an alert message. Despite this, CamStudio manages to record the audio without problems.
4. We are not interested in the grabber window appearing during recording. Therefore, vulvete to direct the tab of Options and select Program Options (Program options in Spanish).
In the drop-down menu, click on Minimize program on start recording so that CamStudio is automatically minimized when screen recording begins.
5. With the Netflix video that you want to record prepared, click on the recording button -the small red round- of the CamStudio toolbar to start the screen capture.
Go back to Netflix and hit the play to start the movie or episode you want to save. Do not forget to also click on the button to enlarge the screen so you can watch the video in full screen.
6. Unfortunately, you will not be able to use the device while the recording is taking place. Wait for the video to finish playing and hit the stop button -a blue square- to end the capture.
Finally, name the file and save it in your preferred folder on your computer. The video that has just been recorded automatically is likely to play. Simply close the player.
You can transfer the recorded videos to your mobile or tablet to enjoy them more comfortably when you are away from home. Alternatively, you can use screen capturers designed specifically for Android.
