S guys, Samsung does not stop anything, just launched its new Galaxy Note 4, but is already working on its next flagship. The succession of terminals gives the name of Samsung Galaxy S6, but at the moment it seems to be called "Project Zero"
It seems that this name is related to the way to manufacture and design this new terminal, since Samsung is doing it from scratch, that is, without relying on anything previous. It is difficult not to rely on something earlier, but I think 2015 will be the year that Samsung hit the table with the designs of its terminals. All this makes me think that the Samsung Galaxy A5 and A3 have been a simple study to see if the materials fit the current market. We will see…
Not only do we know the supposed name of the terminal, but some of the specifications have been leaked.
It seems that mounting a Sper AMOLED screen with the already known 2K resolution (2560 × 1440) that is being incorporated into all current high-end. We don't know anything about the screen size, but around 5.1 or 5.2 inches. As for the processor, we are surprised, since Samsung has decided to kick Qualcomm to mount the chip on its flagship. Apparently it is a proprietary chip and there will be another version of the terminal with a Qualcomm Snapdragon 810. It is the Exynos 7420, an 8-core processor with 64-bit architecture. The core distribution of this processor has 4 Cortex A-53 and 4 Cortex A-57. I already tell you that it is a whole brown beast.
The terminal will be available in versions 32, 64 and 128 GB of storage. Something I like, since they discard the 16 GB version.
For the taking of images we also have novelties, since it seems to mount an IMX240 sensor and everything points to be 16 megapixels. The company is working hard on image stabilization, which all points to be spectacular.
Well, all this is what is known at the moment of the Samsung Galaxy S6, Project Zero or what you want to call it. The only thing I expect from this new Samsung terminal is that they renew the design, since the rest of us already know that it will be good to be a high-end sper.
Finally, it is expected to be available for February, but personally I think they will opt for the same strategy as last year with the S5 and be waiting for the MWC for its presentation.
What do you think about this new Samsung terminal? What are you missing?
