According to the latest official data provided by Apple itself, Apple's streaming music service has more than 60 million subscribers, all of them paid as unlike Spotify, Apple does not offer a free version of its streaming music service. The latest data from Spotify, a couple of months ago, state that it exceeds 100 million paid subscribers.
In the United States, Apple Music surpassed Spotify a few months ago, although oddly enough, it is not the most used streaming music service. To try to scratch subscribers to other platforms, especially within the education sector, the Cupertino-based company has announced that double the trial period to students who hire Apple Music, as they claim from iMore.
The monthly price of the Apple Music subscription is 9.99 euros / dollars. If you are a student and your study center is within the UNiDAYS student program, the fee is reduced by half, 4.99 euros / dollars. So far, the trial period of the student version was 3 months, however as of this moment, that period doubles up to 6 months.
This offer It is only valid for all those users who have not previously hired Apple's music service and adds to the program that Apple creates every year so that the return of the students to the classrooms is somewhat cheaper, thanks to the interesting discounts that it makes available.
We do not know until when this offer will be available but it is more than likely to do so until the beginning of September, in order to take advantage of the pull of the return to school, so if you were thinking about trying Apple Music and you are students, little or nothing you have to lose.
